Script first. You approve. Then we render.
A free AI comic generator should let you preview the AI's work before asking for a card. That is exactly the deal with the Tervix AI comic generator
What You Get for Free
Every new account gets 10 free credits — enough to draft your first comic script and render a complete 4-panel comic. You'll see the title, characters, and a panel-by-panel breakdown of your story (scene description, dialogue, camera shot), then watch it turn into real finished panels — all on the free credits.
No Credit Card Required
Sign in with Google or GitHub and start drafting. No payment details, no trial trap.
Free AI Script Breakdown
Watch the AI turn a paragraph into a structured comic script — characters, scene composition, dialogue, panel pacing — in seconds. Edit anything before you spend on rendering.
When to Upgrade
Upgrade when you want a second comic, a longer one, or the paid-only extras: clean exports without the small free-tier watermark, the 7 paid art styles, and uploading your own character photos. The first comic itself doesn't need an upgrade.
Free Tier vs. Paid Plans
Free and paid run the same models — same script engine, same image models, same resolution, same queue. 9 art styles are free (Comic Book, Manga, Anime, Webtoon, Cartoon, Chibi, Superhero, Soft Anime, Cyberpunk); 7 are paid (Noir, Watercolor, Pixel Art, Realistic, Shonen Jump, Gekiga, Cinematic). What paid plans add is volume (100–700 credits a month vs. a one-time 10), clean exports with no watermark, and uploading your own character photos. A 2-character, 4-panel comic is the size the free credits render in full — pick 4 in the panel selector to finish one end to end, or leave it on Auto and unlock the extra panels later for 1 credit each.
Questions
About this generator.
Actually free. 10 credits on signup, no credit card required, no auto-renewal. The credits cover drafting a comic script, casting two characters, and rendering a full 4-panel comic before you decide whether to upgrade. They're a one-time grant, not a monthly refill.
Make a complete comic: the script costs 4 credits, each character reference costs 1, and each panel costs 1 — so a two-character 4-panel comic comes to exactly 10, and a single-character one to 9. You'll get a title, character list, page-by-page panel breakdown with dialogue and camera shots, then the fully rendered panels.
Each rendered panel runs a frontier image model with character-consistency references — a real per-image GPU cost. That's why credits exist at all. The signup grant is sized to absorb one full comic (script included) so the free experience reaches finished art; beyond that, rendering is what you're paying for.
Yes. The terms grant every account — free included — a broad license to use, share, and commercially exploit the comics it generates. The practical difference is the watermark on free exports, which any credit pack or subscription removes.
